may cause chemical pneumonia depending upon severity of exposure.
Skin Contact:
Can cause severe burns.
Eye Contact:
Causes severe burns with damage to eyes and possible blindness.
Ingestion:
Can cause scarring and burning of lips, mouth, tongue, throat,
esophagus and stomach. May cause perforation of these passages and
possible lead poisoning.
Chronic:
Chronic overexposure to lead compounds can result in lead poisoning,
including severe damage to blood-forming, nervous, urinary, and
reproductive systems of humans. Chronic overexposure to lead has also
resulted in kidney damage. Overexposure to tin compounds may cause
benign pneumoconiosis.

SECTION IV - First Aid Measures

Skin Contact:
Immediately wash contaminated skin with plenty of water for 15
minutes. Remove contaminated clothing and footwear. Wash clothing
before reuse. Discard footwear if it cannot be decontaminated. Seek
immediate medical attention.
Eye Contact:
Immediately flush eyes with plenty of water for at least 15 minutes
holding lids apart to ensure flushing of entire surface. Washing eyes
within several seconds of exposure is essential to minimize damage.
Seek immediate medical attention.
Ingestion:
Never give anything by mouth to an unconscious person, obtain
immediate medical attention. If vomiting occurs spontaneously, keep
airway clear. If swallowed DO NOT INDUCE VOMITING, give large amounts
of water.
Seek immediate medical attention.
Inhalation:
Remove person from contaminated area. If breathing has stopped,
resuscitate and administer oxygen if available.
Seek immediate medical attention.

SECTION V - Fire-Fighting Measures
Flash Point None

Special Fire-Fighting Procedures:
Wear self-contained breathing apparatus (SCBA) and complete personal
protective equipment when potential for exposure to vapors or products

of combustion exists.
Unusual Fire-Fighting Hazards:
Hydrogen, a highly flammable and explosive gas, may be generated by
the action of acids on many metals.
Heating of dried salts may yield toxic sulfur oxides, as well as other
hazardous fumes.
Extinguishing Media:
Use carbon dioxide.
Use dry chemical.
Use foam.

SECTION VI - Accidental Release Measures

Avoid contact with skin, eyes and clothing. Wear protective equipment
(see Section VIII), including self-contained breathing apparatus
(SCBA). Do not breathe mist or vapors. Contain spill and soak up in
suitable alkaline absorbent, such as lime or soda ash. Shovel into
plastic lined steel containers. Dilute residual material with large
amounts of water and neutralize with dilute alkali or soda ash.
Dispose of in accordance with Local, State and Federal regulations.

SECTION VII - Handling and Storage

Store in a cool, dry place. Keep away from alkalis. Loosen cover
cautiously when opening.
Additional Information:
Maintain adequate ventilation when neutralizing spillage due to
possible evolution of carbon dioxide.
Work/Hygienic Practices:
Do not consume, handle or store food, beverages or tobacco in areas
where this product is present. Emergency eye wash and safety shower
should be available. Wash thoroughly after handling.
