Relative routes of entry: Skin, Inhalation, Eyes
Skin Contact: Irritating to skin. Solvent action can dry and defat the skin, causing the skin to crack, leading
to dermatitis.
Eye Contact: Flush with plenty of water for 15 minutes, consult physician. Vapors may irritate eyes.
Contact with eyes will cause redness and irritation.

Respiratory/ Inhalation: May cause respiratory tract irritation. Symptoms of excessive exposure are
Dizziness, Headache, Nausea, Fatigue, Drowsiness, and Impaired co-ordination
Ingestion: Amounts transferred to mouth by fingers, etc, during normal operation should not cause injury.
For more, induce vomiting, consult physician.
Medical conditions generally aggravated by exposure: Eye, skin, respiratory disorders, and central nervous
system.
SECTION IV ?FIRST AID INSTRUCTIONS
Skin Contact: Remove contaminated clothing. Wash affected area with soap and rinse with plenty of water.
Get medical attention if symptoms occur. Wash clothing before reuse.
Eye Contact: Flush with water for at least 15 minutes holding eyelid open. Get medical attention if
symptoms persist.
Respiratory / Inhalation: Remove to fresh air, if symptoms develop get medical attention.
Ingestion: Induce vomiting. If conscious, drink plenty of water. Obtain medical attention if symptoms
develop.
SECTION V ?FIRE FIGHTING INSTRUCTIONS

Unusual Fire and Explosion Hazards: Vapors may accumulate in low or confined areas, travel
considerable distance to source of ignition and flash back.

of ignition. Review fire and explosion hazards with safety
precautions before proceeding with clean-up.
Environmental precautions: Prevent material from entering floor drains, sewers, or
any bodies of water.
Clean up methods: Clean up area with absorbent material.
Store in a closed container until disposal.

Handling: Avoid contact with eyes, skin, and clothing. Avoid breathing
vapors and mist.. Wash hands thoroughly at mealtime and end
of shift. Keep area ventilated ?do not smoke.
Storage: Store in a cool location (60-90癋) in a well ventilated area away
from sources of heat or other sources of ignition. Do
Not store with flammable liquids, strong acids/bases/oxidants,
areas of food/drink.
Personal Protection: Wear personal protective equipment as outlined in
Section VIII of this MSDS.

Respiratory Protection: Use NIOSH approved respirator if there is potential to exceed
exposure limits.
Skin Protection: Use impermeable gloves (neoprene, butyl rubber,
natural rubber), as necessary to avoid skin contact, as
well as proper clothing or plastic apron. Wash hands
before eating, drinking, or using restroom.
Eye Protection: Safety goggles or safety glasses with side shields..
Eye Washes: Eye wash stations should be located within 100 feet or
10 second walk of the work area.
