2. Composition, Information on Ingredients
Reagent A: Vitronectin in PBS containing 175 mM Ammonium Sulfate.
Reagent B: Insulin-like Growth Factor Binding Protein-3 (IGFBP-3) in 10 mM Acetic acid.
Reagent C: Insulin-like Growth Factor-1 (IGF-1) in 10 mM Hydrochloric acid.
Reagent D: Epidermal Growth Factor (EGF) in 10 mM Hydrochloric acid.
Human Vitronectin is purified from human plasma that has been tested by the American Red
Cross and found to be non-reactive for HIV-1 and Human T-cell leukaemia virus type-1
(HTLV-1) antibody and antigen, Hepatitis B surface antigen (HBsAg) and antibodies to
Hepatitis C.
Caution: These results are subject to the limitations of the virus detection assays. No known
test methods offer complete assurance that products derived from human tissue will not
transmit infectious agents. Observe universal precautions when working with this product.
IGFBP-3, IGF-1 and EGF are recombinant human proteins produced in E.coli.

Occupational exposure presents little or no health hazard. Human Vitronectin is purified from
screened human blood donors indicating due care should be taken to prevent direct human
contact.

Eye: May cause eye irritation.
Skin: May cause skin irritation.
Inhalation: No toxicity expected from inhalation.
Ingestion: May cause irritation to mouth, throat and stomach.

4. First Aid Measures
Eye: Flush with water for at least 15 minutes. Remove contact lenses.
Skin: Wash with soapy water. Remove contaminated clothes and wash.
Ingestion: Give plenty of water. Be prepared to induce vomiting upon Physicians advice.
Inhalation: If symptomatic remove person to fresh air.
Seek medical attention if symptoms develop (redness, itching, discomfort etc.).
