No adverse health effects are expected if this product is used in accordance with the label.
No specific symptoms of poisoning should be expected.
Chronic: Animal studies have shown no evidence of oncogenic effect, no evidence of
carcinogenic effects and no teratogenic potential.

If sprayed in mouth give milk or water.

If sprayed on skin, wash thoroughly with soap and water.

LD50 oral (ingestion) - rat: 590 -1189 mg/kg (Bayer) - i.e. toxic
LD50 dermal (skin contact) - rat: >5000 mg/kg (Bayer) - i.e. practically non-toxic
Inhalation LC50 (rat 1x4h test): 496-592 mg/cu m air (Bayer) - i.e. toxic
Eyes: A combination of 0.2 g/kg of cyfluthrin and 0.75 g/kg bitertanol was applied to the
conjunctival sac of the eye of a rabbit. No mucosal irritation was observed.
Information on Ecological Effects
Do NOT spray if bees are feeding on flowering plants. Harmful to fish. Cover fish tanks and
remove caged birds and pets from treatment area before using product.
Use of Baythroid Garden Insect Spray should be avoided on mite prone crops where the predatory
mite (Phytoseillus persimilis) has been introduced.
