1.COMPOSITION OF INGREDIENTS

Chemical Composition
Blend of micro-crystalline waxes in white spirit
Hazardous component
White spirit

2.HAZARD IDENTIFICATION

White spirit (naphtha/petroleum): approx. 80% by weight. Benzene content: less than
0.1%. Flammable, harmful if swallowed and dangerous for the environment.

3.FIRST AID MEASURES

Inhalation: Remove affected person to fresh air. If unconscious turn onto face.
Obtain medical advice.
Skin Contact: Wash thoroughly with soap and water. Remove contaminated
clothing.
Eye Contact: Wash immediately with clean water for at least 10 minutes. If
irritation persists obtain medical attention.
Ingestion: Do not induce vomiting. If person vomits turn over onto face.
Give milk or plenty of water. Obtain medical attention.

4.FIRE-FIGHTING MEASURES

Suitable media: Dry chemical, alcohol resistant foam, carbon dioxide.
Unsuitable media: Water jet
Protective Equipment: Self-contained breathing apparatus/gloves.
Combustion products: Toxic gases.

5.ACCIDENTAL RELEASE MEASURES

Personal precautions: Avoid breathing vapours.
Environmental precautions: If product enters the drains, inform relevant authorities.
Method of cleaning: Scrape up and remove to a safe place for incineration.
Contain with sand or earth if necessary.

6.HANDLING AND STORAGE
Handling: Use in well ventilated area. Avoid contact with skin and
eyes and do not swallow.
Storage conditions: Store in a cool dry place in the original containers. Keep
sealed. Avoid sources of ignition or naked flames. Keep
apart from strong oxidising substances.

7.EXPOSURE CONTROLS/PERSONAL PROTECTION

Respiratory protection: Avoid breathing the vapour.
Ventilation: Use in well ventilated area.
Hand protection: Avoid contact with skin
Eye protection: Avoid contact with eyes.
Skin protection: Wash with soap and water.
Occupational exposure: OEL sol. 600mg/m鲁 (8 hour TWA)

Solid content: Approximately 20%

N.B. The extraordinary absorptive capacity of the Renaissance blend of waxes
ensures
freedom from free solvent despite the high liquid content.
In its can the wax remains a dense solid.

9.STABILITY AND REACTIVITY

Conditions to avoid: Protect from all forms of heat.
Materials to avoid: Strong acids, alkalis, halogens, oxidising agents.
Hazardous decomposition
Products: Toxic gases (carbon dioxide and/or carbon monoxide)

10.TOXICOLOGICAL INFORMATION

Eyes: Intense smarting and irritation
Skin: Prolonged contact will defat and dry, leading to possible
irritation and dermatitis.


Inhalation: Inhalation of high vapour concentrations can cause
intoxication, headache, nausea and (in extreme cases),
coma.
Ingestion: May cause irritation of the mouth, throat and digestive tract
causing vomiting and abdominal pain. Significant
absorption may cause sleepiness and pulmonary oedema.

12.DISPOSAL CONSIDERATIONS

Large spills should be contained with earth or sand and disposed of at a registered tip
site..
