HEALTH EFFECTS
Acute - Swallowed Ingestion of dust may irritate the gastro-intestinal tract.

Handling Beta-Amylase Assay Reagent contains an oligosaccharide (carbohydrate compound) plus
伪-glucosidase. Powdered enzymes should be handled with care and under precautions to avoid inhalation of
dust. Airborne dust or aerosols can develop during spillage, material transfers or vigorous stirring of solutions.
Any operation which might create dust or aerosol should take place in areas that are provided with adequate
exhaust or other forms of mechanical control systems. It is important to avoid direct contact with skin.
Operations which may cause spillage or splashing must be avoided. Rubbing of the face or eyes should be
avoided when wearing protective gloves that have been in contact with enzyme.
