3. HAZARDS IDENTIFICATION
EMERGENCY OVERVIEW: May cause moderate eye irritation. Degree of injury will depend on amount of
material that gets into the eye and the speed and thoroughness of the first aid treatment. Excessive
inhalation exposure may cause irritation to upper respiratory tract and central nervous system effects. Brief
contact may cause mild skin irritation and while prolonged skin contact is unlikely to result in absorption of
harmful amounts, it may cause moderate skin irritation. Small amounts swallowed incidental to normal
handling operations are not likely to cause injury; however, swallowing larger amounts may cause injury.
SYMPTOMS OF OVEREXPOSURE: Symptoms of overexposure are headaches, dizziness, numbness,
nausea, lack of coordination or other central nervous system effects.
HAZARDOUS DECOMPOSITION PRODUCTS: Thermal decomposition creates toxic and corrosive fumes.
4. FIRST AID MEASURES

?br> IF IN EYES: Hold eye open and rinse slowly and gently with water for 15-20 minutes.
? Remove contact lenses, if present, after the first 5 minutes, then
continue rinsing eye.
? Call a poison control center or doctor for treatment advice.
?br> IF ON SKIN OR Take off contaminated clothing.
?br> CLOTHING: Rinse skin immediately with plenty of soap and water for 15-20 minutes.
? Call a poison control center or doctor for treatment advice.
NOTE TO PHYSICIAN: If a large amount has been ingested, lavage stomach. An aqueous suspension
of activated charcoal can be given to absorb remaining toxicant. Treat symptomatically.
Have the product container or label with you when calling a poison control center or doctor, or going for
treatment. You may also contact PROSAR (800) 308-5391 for emergency medical treatment
information.

5. FIRE FIGHTING MEASURES
FLASH POINT: 87癈 (189癋)
FLAMMABLE LIMITS: Not applicable.
EXTINGUISHING MEDIA: Use carbon dioxide, dry chemical, water spray or foam.
HAZARDOUS DECOMPOSITION PRODUCTS: Thermal decomposition may yield irritating and toxic fumes.
FIRE-FIGHTING INSTRUCTIONS : Remain upwind and avoid breathing smoke. Use water spray to cool
containers exposed to fire. Wear self-contained breathing apparatus (pressure-demand MSHA/NIOSH
approved or equivalent) and full protective clothing. Prevent contamination of water by diking the area to
contain run-off and dispose of fire control water appropriately.
NFPA RATINGS: Health: 2 / Flammability: 2 / Reactivity: 0
6. ACCIDENTAL RELEASE MEASURES
Clean up spills immediately observing the precautions in Section 8 of this MSDS. Isolate the hazard area and
keep unnecessary and unprotected personnel from entering. Prevent material from contaminating soil or from
entering sewage and drainage systems and bodies of water.
Dike spillage, pick up with suitable absorbent material and place in a compatible disposal container. After
removal, wash contaminated area thoroughly with hard water detergent (e.g., Tide, Joy, Spic and Span) and
collect wash water using additional absorbent material and place into a compatible disposal container. Seal
containers and arrange for approved disposal.
7. HANDLING AND STORAGE
Do not allow to come into contact with skin, eyes and clothing. Remove and wash contaminated clothing
before reuse. Wash thoroughly with soap and water after handling and before eating, drinking, chewing gum,
using tobacco or using the toilet.
Store in a cool, dry place away from ignition sources and in such a manner as to prevent cross contamination
with other pesticides, fertilizers, food, and feed. Store in original container and out of the reach of children,
preferably in a secured storage area. Do not allow to contaminate food or feed and segregate from textiles
and other similar materials.
8. EXPOSURE CONTROLS / PERSONAL PROTECTION
Engineering Controls: Facilities storing or utilizing this material should be equipped with an eyewash station
and a safety shower.
Protective Clothing: Wear long-sleeved shirt, long pants, shoes plus socks, and chemical resistant gloves
such as nitrile, butyl, neoprene or barrier laminate.
General: Wash thoroughly with soap and water after handling. Discard clothing and other absorbent
materials that have been heavily contaminated with this product; do not reuse them. Follow the
manufacturer's instructions for cleaning and maintaining PPE. If no such instructions for washables exist, use
detergent and hot water. Keep and wash PPE separately from other laundry.
