VI. HEALTH HAZARD INFORMATION (2,4-D)

ORAL ....................... Single dose oral toxicity is moderate. Oral LD50 rats is 375 to greater than
1000 mg/kg. Ingestion may cause gastrointestinal irritation.
EYES ........................ May cause pain. Dust may irritate eyes.
SKIN ......................... A single prolonged skin exposure is not likely to result in material being absorbed
through skin in harmful amounts. Skin LD50 Rabbits is 1400 to greater than
2000 mg/kg. Prolonged or repeated exposure may cause skin irritation.
FIRST AID
INGESTION ............. If swallowed, call a physician or Poison Control Center.
Drink one or two glasses of water and induce vomiting.
Never give anything by mouth to an unconscious person.
EYES ........................ Flush with plenty of water. Get medical attention if irritation occurs or persists.
SKIN ......................... Wash with soap and water. If irritation occurs consult a physician.
