Effects of Over Exposure: Osmium compounds are generally considered to be poisonous. Ocular disturbances are
associated with exposure to OSO4.
EMERGENCY AND FIRST AID PROCEDURES: Remove patient from area of exposure to fresh air.
EXTERNAL: Flush with soap and water for 15 minutes.
EYES: Flush with eye bath.
INTERNAL: Contact poison control center/physician.
