HEALTH RISKS AND SYMPTOMS OF EXPOSURE
Inhalation- Excessive inhalation of vapors can cause nasal and respiratory irritation, dizziness and even
asphyxiation.
Skin and Eye Contact- Eye Contact: Severe irritation, tearing, redness and blurred vision.
Skin Absorption- Skin Contact: Can dry and defat skin causing cracks, irritation and dermititis.
Ingestion- Can cause gastrointestinal irritation, vomiting, nausea, and diarrhea.

Medical Conditions Generally Aggravated by Exposure- High vapor concentrations (grater than
approximately 1000 ppm) are irritation to the eyes and the respiratory tract, may cause headache and dizziness,
are anesthetic, and may have other central nervous system effects.
EMERGENCY FIRST AID PROCEDURES
Inhalation Overexposure- Move person to fresh air. If breathing stops, apply artificial respiration and seek
immediate medical attention.
Eye Contact- Flush with large quantities fo water for 15 minutes
Skin Contact- Wash thoroughly with soap and water and see a doctor.
Ingestion- Do not induce vomiting, can cause chemical pneumonitis and pulmonary edema. Contact a physician
immediately.

SECTION VII - PRECAUTIONS FOR SAFE HANDLING AND USE
Steps to be taken in case material is released or spilled- Keep people away. Add sand, earth or other
suitable absorbent to spill area. Keep product out of sewer and water courses by diking. Advise authorities if
product has entered or may enter sewers or waterways.
Waste disposal method- Consult local authorities as product is considered a hazardous material and may be
subject to disposal restrictions. Do not wash into sewers. Do not exhaust dusts into the air. Keep waste rags in
a labled safety container. Do not incinerate. Disposal must be in accordance with state, local and federal
regulations.

Precautions to be taken in handling and storing- Use in well ventilated areas. Keep containers closed when
not in use. Keep away from excessive heat and open flames. Containers of this material may be hazardous
when emptied. Since containers retain product residues (vapor, liquid, and or solid) all hazardous precautions
given in this data sheet mus be observed. DO NOT WORK ALONE! KEEP OUT OF THE REACH OF CHILDREN.

SECTION VIII - SPECIAL PROTECTION INFORMATION
RESPIRATORY PROTECTION: NIOSH approved protection must be used in accordance with existing standards
and must be worn if TLV is exceeded.
VENTILATION: Provide grater than 60 ft/min. hood face velocity.
PROTECTIVE GLOVES: Use chemical resistant gloves if needed to avoid prolonged or repeated contact with skin.
EYE PROTECTION: Use chemical safety glasses, goggles, and face-shields for eye protection.
OTHER PROTECTIVE CLOTHING OR EQUIPMENT: Use impermeable aprons and protective clothing whenever
possible to prevent skin contact. The use of head caps whenever possible is strongly recommended.
WORK/HYGIENIC PRACTICES: Eye washes and safety showers in the workplace are recommended. Remove
contaminated clothing; launder or dry-clean before reuse. Wash thoroughly with soap and water.
