FIRST AID
_________________________________________________________________

In case of contact, immediately flush eyes or skin with copious
amounts of water for at least 15 minutes while removing
contaminated clothing and shoes. Assure adequate flushing of the
eyes by separating the eyelids with fingers.

If inhaled, remove to fresh air. If not breathing give
artificial respiration. If breathing is difficult, give oxygen.

If swallowed, wash out mouth with water provided person is
conscious. Call physician immediately. Discard contaminated
clothing and shoes.

FIRE FIGHTING MEASURES
_________________________________________________________________

EXTINGUISHING MEDIA:

Carbon dioxide, dry chemical powder or appropriate foram. Water
may be effective for cooling, but may not effect extinguishment.

2
SPECIAL FIREFIGHTING PROCEDURES:

Wear self-contained breathing apparatus and protective clothing
to prevent contact with skin and eyes.

UNUSUAL FIRE AND EXPLOSIONS HAZARDS:

EXTREMELY FLAMMABLE. Vapor may travel considerable distance to
source of ignition and flash back.
_________________________________________________________________

ACCIDENTAL RELEASE MEASURES
_________________________________________________________________

Evacuate area. Shut off all sources of ignition. Wear self-
contained breathing apparatus, rubber boots and heavy rubber
gloves. Cover with an activated carbon absorbent, take up and
place in closed containers. Transport outdoors. Ventilate area
and wash spill site after material pickup is complete.
_________________________________________________________________

EXPOSURE CONTROLS/PERSONAL PROTECTION
_________________________________________________________________

Wear appropriate NIOSH/MSHA-approved respirator, chemical-
resistant gloves, safety goggles, other protective clothing.
Safety shower and eye bath. Use only in a chemical fume hood.
Faceshield (8-inch minimum). Do not breathe vapor. Do not get
in eyes, on skin, on clothing Avoid prolonged or repeated
exposure. Readily absorbed through skin. Wash thoroughly after
handling. Highly Toxic. Corrosive. Severe lachrymator.
Carcinogen. Keep tightly closed. Keep away from heat, sparks,
and open flame. Heat- and light-sensitive. Refrigerate.
