Swallowed: May result in nausea, vomiting and diarrhoea

Choline Chloride is metabolised in the liver. Prolonged or repeated exposure may lead to
symptoms of gastro-intestinal discomfort and depression.
First Aid If poisoning occurs, contact a doctor or Poisons Information Centre,
Ph: 13 11 26.
Swallowed: Rinse mouth with water. Give large quantities of water or bland fluids to drink.
DO NOT induce vomiting. Seek medical attention. Show this MSDS to a medical practitioner.
Eye: Immediately flush eye with plenty of water for at least 15 minutes
Skin: Wash skin with soap and water. Remove all contaminated clothing

SAFE HANDLING INFORMATION
Storage: No special storage requirements. Store below 30癈. Store in original
container tightly closed. Store away from foodstuffs. Protect from light.
Transport: Acetol is not classified as a Dangerous Good for the purpose of road or rail
transport.
Spills: Slippery when spilt. For small spills, wipe, then wash area to drain with excess water.
For large spills, contain using absorbent material. Collect and seal in properly labelled
containers for disposal. Wash area to drain with excess water.
Disposal: Refer to the relevant State Land Waste Management Authority
Fire/Explosion Hazard: Acetol is non-flammable. In severe fire may give off toxic or irritant
