Section 2 : Health Hazard Data

Acute Health Effects: This compound may be toxic if ingested, inhaled or absorbed through the skin.
This compound is irritating to the eyes, skin, mucous membranes, and upper respiratory tract. May cause
itching, lachrymation, inflammation, sneezing, or vomiting
Chronic Health Effects: This chemical is classified by IARC as a Group 2B carcinogen.



Section 3 : First Aid Measures

Eye Contact: Check for and remove contact lenses. Flush eyes with running water for at least 15
minutes separating eyelids. Seek medical attention immediately
Skin Contact: Remove contaminated clothing and shoes. Wash with soap and water for 15 minutes.
Bath or immerse the irritated area in vinegar (5% acetic acid). Immersion should be continued as
long as irritation is felt upon drying the affected area. Several hours immersion may be necessary
in severe cases. An alternative treatment involves the immersion of the effected area in vegetable
oil. Seek medical attention.
Inhalation: Remove from exposure. If breathing is difficult, administer oxygen. If breathing stops,
administer artificial respiration. Seek medical attention immediately. Provide chemical label
and MSDS if possible.
Ingestion: Remove dentures and clear mouth. If person is conscious, induce vomiting. Call
physician or poison control immediately. Provide chemical label and MSDS information if
possible.

this product.
