ACCIDENTAL RELEASE MEASURES:
No action shall be taken involving any personal risk or without suitable training. Ventilate
the area. Self contained breathing apparatus may be required. If material is released,
indicate risk of slipping. Put on appropriate personal protective equipment (see section 8).
Avoid dispersal of spilled material and runoff and contact with soil, waterways, drains and
sewers.
Product imparts a milky white color to contaminated water. Foaming may result. Sewage
treatment plants may not be able to remove white color from water.
Neutralize with dilute solution of sodium carbonate and soak up with inert absorbent
material such as sand, silica gel, acid binder, sawdust, or universal binder. Clean up area
with plenty of water. Dispose of cleansing water and all material in accordance with
Federal, State, and local regulations.

HANDLING: Eating, drinking and smoking should be prohibited in areas where this material is
handled, stored and processed. Workers should wash hands and face with soap and
water before eating, drinking and smoking.

WASTE DISPOSAL METHOD: Disposal of this product, solutions and any by-products should at all times comply with
Federal, State and local regulations. For small quantities (less than 100 gallons), disposal
to industrial or municipal waste water treatment plant is normally acceptable. Obtain
approval prior to disposal. The product may cause foaming when agitated. The product
can be chemically or biologically degraded.
For large quantities, dispose of product in an approved and licensed facility. The product
may be disposed by incineration in a special waste incinerator, but chemical or biological
treatment is usually sufficient. Chemical precipitation and coagulation can be used to
remove solids. NOTE: Product may be difficult to remove from automobiles and other
personal property if allowed to dry on surface.
