UNSUITABLE EXTINGUISHING MEDIA:
FIRE FIGHTING PROTECTIVE EQUIPMENT: A self-contained breathing apparatus and suitable protective clothing
should be worn in fire conditions.
FURTHER INFORMATION: Burning produces Carbon Oxides, Nitrogen Oxides, and under certain conditions of
combustion, traces of other toxic substances cannot be excluded.
6. ACCIDENTAL RELEASE MEASURES
PERSONAL PECAUTIONS: Ensure adequate ventilation. Do not breathe vapour. Avoid ignition sources. Avoid contact
with skin, eyes and clothing.

MATERIAL SAFETY DATA SHEET
HANDLING: Provide exhaust ventilation if dust is formed. Suitable industrial vacuum cleaners or central exhaust
ventilation equipment must be used for taking up dust
STORAGE: Keep only in original container. Store in cool, dry place away from heat, sparks, flame and direct
sunlight.
Keep container closed to prevent water absorption and contamination. Keep away from sources of
ignition ?No Smoking.
IMPORTANT:
STORAGE TEMPERATURE: Preferably not exceeding 15 ?C - 23 ?C.
INDUSTRIAL HYGIENE PRACTICES: Wash face and hands thoroughly with the soap and w ater after use and
before eating, drinking, smoking or applying cosmetics.
8. EXPOSURE CONTROL / PERSONAL PROTECTION
During the moulding process certain volatiles may be given off; these are phenol, ammonia and formaldehyde. Inhalation
of these vapours can cause irritation of the respiratory system, therefore adequate ventilation should be provided so
that the concentration of these vapours in the working atmosphere does not exceed the occupational exposure limits.
