Dear Valued Customer:
In an effort to better serve you, Applied Biosystems is revising the look and feel of our Material Safety Data
Sheets, (MSDSs). In addition, we will now be supplying MSDSs for materials which are classified as "non-
hazardous" as defined by the Dangerous Substances and Dangerous Preparations Directives, 67/548/EEC and
88/379/EEC respectively, (EU), and the OSHA Hazard Communication Standard, 29 CFR 1910.1200 (U.S.). As
always, MSDSs will be available in multiple languages. In the coming months, we will be implementing a system
whereby you will be able to choose your preferred method for MSDS delivery. Your delivery options are as
follows:
By E mail
By FAX
Please take a few minutes to send an e-mail to: MSDS_Inquiry_CCRM@appliedbiosystems.com to let us know
your preference. Type "MSDS Delivery" in the subject line and include your preference in the body of the letter
along with your full name, Company or Institution, and your preferred E-mail address or FAX number as
applicable. Please choose only one option. Alternatively, you may print out this letter, circle your preference
from the list above, and mail it to the address below. Please include your full name, Company or Institution, and
E-mail address or FAX number as applicable on this letter.
In the meantime, you will continue to receive your document(s) along with your order if it is the first order of the
calendar year, or when the MSDS has undergone a major revision. MSDSs are also available on our website.

If you are a Distributor or Dealer of Applied Biosystems Products:
As the last supplier in the chain who provides hazardous substances to a place of work, you have the
responsibility to provide a Material Safety Data Sheet (MSDS) and any updated hazard information from our
company to your customers. You are required to send the MSDS to your downstream users prior to or with the
initial delivery of a hazardous substance. When an MSDS is revised, a copy of the revised MSDS should be
sent to the purchaser as soon as it is revised.
Should you have any questions, feel free to contact us via email at:
