3. Hazards identification




Hazard description HEALTH: Risk of serious damage to eyes.
FIRE AND EXPLOSION: The product is not combustible.

ENVIRONMENT: Accidental release of large amounts will give temporary damage
to plants and aquatic life.


4. First aid measures
General Show this material safety data sheet to the doctor in attendance.
Inhalation In case of innhalation of dust, move to fresh air. Contact a physician if irritations in
the resperatory system persist.
Skin contact Rinse with plenty of water.
Eye contact In case of contact with eyes, rinse immediately with plenty of water (also under
eyelids) and seek medical edvice. Remove any contact lenses. Continue to flush
during transport to physician/hospital.
Ingestion Drink 2-3 glasses of water or milk. Get medical advice.


5. Fire-fighting measures
Suitable extinguishing media Water. CO2, dry chemicals.
Fire and explosion hazards The product is not combustible.
Personal protection equipment Wear a gasmask in case of fire. Sulphur dioxide may be developed.


6. Accidental release measures
Personal precautions Use protection if necessary. See pt. 8.
Environmental precautions Do not flush large quantities into surface water or sanitary sewer system.
Methods for cleaning Take up mechanically and collect in suitable container. Dispose as hazardous
waste.
Other instructions Small quantities should be rinsed away with plenty water.
