result in permanent eye damage.
Systemic Poisoning: If swallowed causes severe burns to gastrointestinal
tract.
Treatment:
Local Contamination: Symptomatic after decontamination. Skin and eye
irritation require irrigation with water and referral for specialist advice.
Systemic Poisoning: Initial treatment should be symptomatic and supportive.
In cases of ingestion seek urgent gastrointesterological advice.
