Use : Multicrop Pyrethrum Plus Garlic Insect Spray is a contact
insecticide. It is based on pyrethrins, which are extracted from
dried flowers. This product is safe to the environment, is non
residual and has very low mammalian toxicity (one of the least
toxic domestic insecticides available). Multicrop Pyrethrum Plus
Garlic Insect Spray is an effective insecticide, insect repellent and
flushing agent. Pyrethrins are well known for their rapid action,
lack of insect immunity, broad spectrum activity and lack of
persistence. Garlic Extract provides its own insecticidal activity as
well as a proven repellency. Piperonyl Butoxide is added to
improve the performance of the pyrethrins.

PHYSICAL PROPERTIES & DESCRIPTION
Appearance : Light amber liquid.
Boiling Point (760mmHg) : Similar to Water.
Corrosiveness : Non-corrosive.
Evaporation : Minimal.
Flammability : Non-flammable.
Flash Point (癈) : Not applicable.
Odour : Distinctive smell of garlic.
Oxidizing/Reducing : None.
pH : Similar to water.
Solubility (% by wt) : 99-100%.
Specific Gravity : 0.98 to 1.002.
Stability : Very Stable. After application readily breaks down on exposure
to direct sun light and air. Depending on conditions and point of
application, can remain viable from one to several days.
HEALTH HAZARD INFORMATION
Health Hazard : Practically non-toxic to man and animals, non-irritation to
mammals or birds and is non-carcinogenic and non-mutagenic.
Dermal absorption is very low.
HEALTH EFFECTS:
Ingestion : Product is quite rapidly metabolised in mammals and no tissue
accumulation occurs. Large volumes ingested may cause some
gastrointestinal disturbances.
Eye : May cause moderate and transient irritation.
Skin : Very poor dermal absorption occurs and is generally non-
irritating.
Inhaled : Non irritant.
FIRST AID:
Ingestion : Do not induce vomiting; give large quantities of milk (preferred),
or water. With any abnormalities seek medical attention.
Eye : Irrigate with copious quantities of water for at least 15 minutes.
With persistent irritation seek medical attention.
Skin : Remove contaminated clothing and wash skin and clothes
(exposed parts) and clothes with plenty of warm water and soap.
Inhaled : If irritation occurs, remove person to fresh air and rest.
Notes to Physician : Treat symptomatically.

PRECAUTIONS FOR USE
Personal : Maintain good personal hygiene. Wash contaminated clothes
and skin with warm water and soap.
Ventilation : Natural ventilation is sufficient to remove any vapours. Open
windows and/or doors, etc. as is necessary.
Flammability : Non-flammable.
Storage : Shake well before use.
SAFE HANDLING INFORMATION
Spillage : Wash spill with plenty of water.
Disposal : Washings can be collected and spread around garden beds, and
plants.
Storage/Transport : Store in original, tightly closed container, in a cool, dry, dark area.
Avoid extremes of temperature and continued exposure to direct
sunlight.
Fire Hazard : None.
Explosion Hazard : None.
OTHER INFORMATION
This product is biodegradable and leaves no harmful residues.
