4. FIRST AID MEASURES
Ingestion: Do not induce vomiting. Keep individual calm.
Obtain medical attention.
Inhalation: Remove to fresh air. If victim experiences
continued breathing difficulties, administer
oxygen until medical assistance can be rendered.
If breathing stops, begin artificial respiration
and obtain immediate medical attention.
Skin Contact: Wash with soap and water. Remove contaminated
clothing Obtain medical attention if irritation
persists.
Eye Contact: Flush at least 15 minutes with water. Obtain
medical attention.
5. FIRE FIGHTING MEASURES
Flash Point: 125癋 (Base only) Method: Setaflash Closed Cup
Recommended
Extinguishing Agents: Carbon dioxide, foam, dry chemical
Hazardous Products formed
by Fire or Thermal Decomp Oxides of carbon.
Unusual Fire or
Explosion Hazards: Vapors are heavier than air and may travel along
the ground or be moved by ventilation and ignited
by heat, pilot lights, other flames and ignition
sources at locations distant from material
handling point. Never use welding or cutting torch
on or near drums (even empty) because product or
residues can ignite explosively. Keep work areas
free of hot metal surfaces and other sources of
ignition. Heated cans may burst. Prolonged
exposure to temperatures above 130癋 may cause
cans to burst.
Explosive Limits:
(% by volume in air)Lower 0.7%
(% by volume in air)Upper 4.4%

6. ACCIDENTAL RELEASE MEASURES
Steps to be taken in case
of spill or leak: Keep sources of ignition and hot metal surfaces
isolated from the spill. Maintain adequate
ventilation. Flush spilled material into suitable
retaining areas or containers with large
quantities of water. Small amounts of material
may be absorbed into an appropriate absorbent.
Flush surface with isopropyl alcohol; then rinse
with soap and water.
Store in closed containers until disposal.
7. HANDLING AND STORAGE
Safe Storage: Store away from sources of ignition in a cool, dry
area between 32癋 and 130癋.
(Contact Loctite Customer Service 1-800-243-4874 for shelf Life information)
Handling: Avoid prolonged skin contact. Keep away from eyes.
Avoid breathing vapors. Do not use near heat,
spark, or open flame. Do not puncture or
incinerate container.
8. EXPOSURE CONTROLS, PERSONAL PROTECTION
Eyes: Safety glasses, chemical goggles, and/or face
shields.
Skin: Impermeable nitrile gloves and aprons.
Ventilation: General mechanical ventilation may be sufficient
to keep vapor/mist concentrations within specified
time-weighted TLV ranges. If general ventilation
proves inadequate to maintain safe vapor/mist
concentrations, supplemental local exhaust may be
required. Other special precautions such as
respiratory masks or environmental containment
devices may be required in extreme cases. The use
of respiratory protection depends on vapor/mist
concentration above the time-weighted TLV: use a
NIOSH approved organic vapor cartridge respirator
with a mist prefilter or gas mask.
See Section 2 for Exposure Limits.
