The PSO, with the advice and recommendation from the Assistant Secretary for Environmental, Safety, and Health (EH-1), shall make a final determination on the request for exemption. The DOE Operations Office or NNSA Site Manager may grant a temporary exemption while the PSO is processing an exemption request.
