A mixture of organic solvents and emulsifiers in water absorbed on non-woven synthetic wipes.

3. HAZARD IDENTIFICATION:
Fire: A water solution of solvents - if processed in hot ambient conditions, fore source may
produce a flash of fire.
Contact: May be irritating to the eyes, skin and mucous membranes.
Inhalation: Vapours should not be inhaled for an extended period.
Ingestion: May be harmful if ingested.

4. FIRST AID MEASURES:
Skin Contact: Remove excess material and wash affected area with plenty of soap and water.
Inhalation: Remove person to fresh air. If discomfort persists seek medical advice.
Eye Contact: Irrigate immediately with clean water for 15 minutes and obtain medical attention.
Ingestion: Wash out mouth with water and offer some milk. Do not induce vomiting. Seek medical
attention.

5. FIRE FIGHTING MEASURES:
Suitable Extinguishing Media: Use only alcohol compatible foam, dry powder or Freons.
Unsuitable Extinguishing Media: Water spray, incompatible foam.
Extraordinary Hazards: N/A
Special Protective Equipment Required: Not required.
Combustion Products: Not known. No sulphur or nitrogen oxides, no halogen liberated.
6. ACCIDENTAL RELEASE MEASURES:
Personal Protection: Avoid eye or skin contact.
Environmental Precautions: See clean up procedure.
Clean Up Methods: No special measures are necessary for the wipes. If the liquid is spilled
absorb it with a suitable absorbent. Dispose of in the proper method
defined by local authorities.
7. HANDLING AND STORAGE:
Handling: Avoid eye and skin contact. Do not inhale vapours for a prolonged period.
Storage: Always store in original container, under cover and in ambient temperatures, not
exceeding 45oC. Never expose to direct heat or sunlight.
Unsuitable Packaging: Packages incompatible with petroleum distillate or to d-Limonene.
Incompatibilities: Strong oxidising agents.
8. Exposure Controls:
Avoid eye contact. Do not inhale vapours for a prolonged period. No exposure limit for the finished product
(the soaked wipes).
Respiratory Protection: Respiratory equipment not required.
Skin/Hand Protection: Use protective gloves and outfit that covers the body (only for the liquid
production stage).
Eye Protection: Use safety goggles (only for the liquid production stage).
Industrial Hygiene: Exercise good industrial hygiene practice. Produce and use in a well ventilated
area. Wash after handling, keep away from food.

10. STABILITY AND REACTIVITY:
Stability: Stable under ambient temperatures. Extrapolated shelf life is at least 24 months in the original
container.
Conditions to Avoid: Excessive temperatures. Sources of ignition. Static electricity.
Materials to Avoid: Strong oxidising agents.
Hazardous decomposition products: N/A

11. TOXICOLOGICAL INFORMATION:
Skin Contact: May cause irritation and rash upon prolonged exposure.
Eye Contact: May cause irritation or damage to the cornea.
Effects of Inhalation: Prolonged inhalation of vapour may cause dizziness.
Ingestion: May cause abdominal pain, nausea and irritation of mucous membrane.
Long Term effects: Not Known

12. ECOLOGICAL INFORMATION:
Air: The product contains volatile ingredient, which may harm the environment. It is
recommended to dispose of the used wipes in closed containers, and according
to regulations.
Water: The mode of use of the wipes minimises the effect on the municipal sewage
systems.
Terrestrial Environment: The used tissue should be disposed of according to local regulations,
preferably in sealed containers. It should not be incinerated.
Degradation: The liquid is over 90% biodegradable.
Eco-toxicity: Highly toxic to aquatic animals.
Persistence & degradation:No info available.

13. DISPOSAL CONSIDERATIONS: The used wipe tissue should be disposed of according to local
regulations for hazardous materials, preferably in sealed containers. Do not incinerate. Packaging should be
disposed of according to regional and/or national regulations. Empty package does not pose any special
hazard.

Addendum 25-03-04 Transportation Information - Wipes impregnated with this liquid.
The liquid referred to in section 14 is in the low range of flammability. Low concentrations of the liquid are
impregnated into a wipe fabric, the wipes are inserted into a solid plastic tub, a foil seal applied plus a
solid plastic lid and the tub is wrapped in a carton. The effect is to render the final product non-flammable
for transport purposes requiring no special transport arrangements.
