HEALTH HAZARDS/ROUTES OF ENTRY
Signs, Symptoms and Effects of Overexposure
Ingestion (swallowing) Harmful if swallowed. Can cause vomiting, dizziness, headaches, loss of coordination.
Aspiration hazard.
Skin Contact Irritant to skin. Can cause defatting of skin, redness, dryness, cracking of skin.
Eye Contact Can cause irritation. Direct contact with the liquid causes stinging, tearing, blurred vision,
pain.
Inhalation (breathing) Anesthetic effect. May cause irritation to the upper respiratory tract. May cause
dizziness, nausea, vomiting.
Other Effects of Prolonged/Repeated Overexposure
This material has not been identified as a carcinogen by NTP, IARC or OSHA. Can cause skin and eye
irritation. In confined area, vapors in high concentrations are anesthetic. Irritant to upper respiratory
system. Over exposure to solvents may cause nervous system, kidney and liver damage.
EMERGENCY AND FIRST AID PROCEDURES
Ingestion (swallowing) Call a physician immediately. DO NOT induce vomiting.
Skin Contact Wash with soap and water. Remove contaminated clothes.
Eye Contact Flush with water for 15 minutes. If irritation persists, call a physician immediately.
Inhalation (breathing) Remove person to fresh air to avoid further inhalation.
SPILL OR RELEASE CONTROL PROCEDURES

Eliminate all ignition sources. Ventilate area & restrict entry. Wear protective equipment. Absorb with inert
absorbent. KEEP LIQUID OUT OF SEWERS AND WATER WAYS.
