Health Effects:-
Skin: Harmful if absorbed through the skin.

Eyes: Irritating to eyes. Contact lenses should not be worn when using. Splashes will be painful.

Inhaled: Vapour or mist is destructive to mucous membranes and respiratory system. Symptoms of exposure may include
burning sensation, coughing, wheezing, laryngitis, shortness of breath, headache, nausea and vomiting.
Swallowed: Vapour or mist is destructive to mucous membranes and respiratory system. Symptoms of exposure may
include burning sensation, coughing, wheezing, laryngitis, shortness
Long Term Hazard: Overexposure to solvents can cause damage to brain, kidney, liver & lungs and may lead to
blindness. IRAC have determined that occupational exposure to strong inorganic acid mists
First Aid:- containing sulphuric acid is carcinogenic to humans.
Skin: Wash affected area thoroughly with soap and water.

Eyes: Flush eyes immediately with plenty of water for at least 15 minutes and get medical attention.

Inhaled: Provide fresh air; give oxygen or artificial respiration if breathing laboured.

Swallowed: If swallowed dilute by giving two glasses of water to drink. DO NOT induce vomiting. Consult Physician or

well ventilated area.
